Schuyler Hospital is looking to hire a Full Time Facilities Worker. This candidate will maintain the electrical systems of the facility in safe working condition. Perform preventive maintenance and urgent corrective and routine repairs for the electrical systems and equipment. Install and repairs electrical wiring, fixtures, control equipment, etc. Maintains boiler operations, HVAC units and chillers both operationally and through preventive maintenance. Perform service and repairs on plumbing, telecommunications and wiring. Perform safety checks throughout the hospital.

Requirements:

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

• 2 years in facilities, construction or trades preferred
• 2 years Commercial HVAC-R Tech preferred

Licensure:

• HVAC Universal Refrigeration Certificate required

Physical Requirements:

• Bend, Twist, Crawl, lift 50 lbs., work in extreme temperatures
