Schuyler Hospital is looking for a dedicated full time Supervisor of Respiratory Therapy. The Respiratory supervisor is a Respiratory therapist who will have responsibility for the day-to-day CMCCHS operations. This person will identify, plan, implement and evaluate processes to improve outcomes while ensuring compliance with ongoing monitoring plans addressing quality and regulatory improvements. Partners with staff to optimize culture of safety efforts, assuring compliance with risk avoidance strategies. Minimum of a BS degree required. The Supervisor collaborates the clinical management and coordinates with the Respiratory Director. The position supports the achievement of Cayuga Health System Goals and objectives. The supervisor is also responsible for oversight of patient care, staff and operation and/or for coordinating one or more administrative functions as assigned.

Requirements

• Education: BS degree required within 2 years of starting.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of progressive and recent relevant

Respiratory experience and management

• Licensure: Active New York Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory therapist License
• Certifications BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Physical Requirements: For physical demands of position, including vision, hearing, repetitive motion and environment.
